Open the statement

Go to Payments and click "Monthly statement" at the top of the page. The current month loads first; use the arrows or the month picker to view any past month.

2

Read the Revenue section

Revenue is grouped by what was sold: classes (drop-in), memberships & passes, events & retreats, appointments, instructor memberships, intro offers, and gift cards. Months that have them also list class credits & subscriptions, service packages, partner memberships, late cancellation fees, and other card charges — a line appears only in a month with that kind of sale. "Total (through Stripe)" sums everything that settled through Stripe. Event money you recorded as paid offline (cash or bank transfer) is listed separately — it never went through Stripe.

3

Read the tips lines (months with tips only)

If clients tipped on home visits during the month, the total splits into three lines. "Studio revenue (through Stripe)" is what your studio earned. "Tips for practitioners" is what clients tipped — your practitioners keep all of it, so it is not your revenue. "Total collected (through Stripe)" is the two added together — everything clients paid through Stripe. A month with no tips shows the single "Total (through Stripe)" line as before.

4

Read the Klasly fees section

The platform fee line is an estimate at the current platform rate (exact per-charge fees live in your Stripe dashboard). The fee applies to everything collected, tips included — the practitioner still receives the whole tip, and the fee on it comes out of your studio's side. If your studio has a fee credit, you'll also see how much credit was applied this month — that money stayed with your studio instead of being taken as a fee — and how much credit remains.

5

Read the Instructor payouts section

Every payout you made to instructors during the month (Pay via Stripe or marked paid manually), with the total your studio actually paid.

6

Download

Click "Download CSV" or "Download PDF" to save the statement for your records or your accountant. The current month keeps growing until it ends, so download finished months for final numbers.

Limits
  • • Stripe processing fees (card fees) are not included — find those in your Stripe dashboard.
  • • A refund of an event add-on is not taken off the statement. Klasly does not record refunds on add-on bookings yet, so if you refund one in Stripe, subtract it yourself for that month.
Tips
  • • Months are calculated in UTC, matching every other report in Klasly.
More detail

Event add-ons — a massage, reading or other session booked alongside an event — have their own line, counted in the month the guest paid. A tip the guest added is not in that line: it is in "Tips for practitioners" with the tips from home visits. An add-on you marked paid on site is listed as "Event add-ons (paid offline)" and, like offline event money, is left out of the Stripe totals and the platform fee. Before October 2026 add-ons were not on the statement at all, so a month you downloaded earlier can be lower than it is now.

Three lines cover sales made outside classes, passes and single appointments. "Class credits & subscriptions" is what members bought from Settings → Class Pricing: credit packs, and an unlimited plan with each of its renewals. "Service packages" is appointment bundles paid up front — the whole package counts in the month it was bought, not as the visits are used. "Other card charges" is anything you charged from a member's profile with Charge card that was not a pass. Before October 2026 these sales were in your dashboard revenue but not on the statement, so a month you downloaded earlier can be lower than it is now.

Memberships and passes count in the month they were paid for, for the amount that was charged. A class pack bought on June 10 is June revenue even though it can be used through September, and a monthly membership counts once each month it renews. Passes you assign for free are not revenue and are not listed. Until October 2026 a pass was listed in every month it was valid, so a statement you downloaded before then can show the same pass in more than one month — download those months again for final numbers.

Refunds are taken off automatically, however you issued them — from Klasly or straight from the Stripe dashboard. A fully refunded charge drops out of revenue; a partial refund leaves the sale in place and subtracts only the amount you sent back, and the platform fee is recalculated on what you actually kept. Refunds count against the month the charge was made in, not the month you refunded it, so a statement you already downloaded can move if you refund an older charge — re-download the month if that matters for your books.

Refund a payment in parts and each refund sends its own email, to you and to the member, stating the amount of that refund — not the total refunded so far. The statement takes off the total.

Refunding a visit that had a tip: the refund comes out of the visit first. "Tips for practitioners" only goes down when you refund more than the visit itself cost — refund $50 of a $140 visit with a $28 tip and Appointments drops by $50 while the tip line stays at $28; refund $150 and the visit is gone and the tip line drops by $10. A refund does not change what you owe the practitioner — adjust that with them directly if the tip is going back to the client.
