Assign manager permissions

Invite a manager and grant fine-grained access via 15 permission toggles.

Invite

Click "Managers" in the sidebar and click "+ Invite manager". Enter the person's email — they receive an invitation to join your studio.

Set permissions

Each manager has 15 permission toggles: Members, Classes, Instructors, Bookings, Rooms, Payments, Messages, Teach, Settings, Class Pricing, Instructor Contracts & Membership Tiers, Tutorial, Export Your Data, Billing, and Issue Refunds.

Use the permission guide

Click "What does each permission do?" next to the page description — this opens a guide showing exactly what each permission grants and what it does not include. Hover over each permission badge for the same hint.

Tips
  • • Managers with the Billing permission can access the Klasly subscription, payment method, and promotion codes. Stripe Connect settings and studio deletion remain owner-only.
  • • Settings includes the Test Accounts switcher — it's called out with a blue badge so you can see it before toggling.
  • • Class Pricing is separate from Classes so you can allow schedule edits without price changes.
  • • Tutorial is a UX preference, not a capability — controls whether onboarding tooltips and the dashboard checklist appear for that user.
  • • Export Your Data controls whether CSV / PDF export buttons appear on Members, Bookings, Payments, etc.
