Substitute an instructor for a session

Swap the teacher for one session, all future sessions, or the whole series — with automatic notify.

Open the Edit Session dialog

Click the session on the Schedule. The dialog has an Instructor picker.

Pick the substitute

Choose a different teacher and select the scope — single occurrence, this and all future, or all in the series.

Notify confirmed members

Klasly automatically emails confirmed-booking members about the swap (e.g. "Sarah → Mei") so they're never surprised on arrival. Untick the "Email confirmed members" box if you're doing a silent data fix.

Tips
  • • An amber warning shows if the new instructor is already teaching another class at the same time on the same day. You can still proceed if the overlap is intentional.
  • • In Collective Mode, the substitute's hours count toward their monthly tier; the original instructor's do not for the swapped session.
