Write a note after a session

Two kinds of note from one button: a treatment note you can save with a few taps, and an incident report that goes straight to the studio.

ForInstructor

Prerequisites

  • • Feature: SOAP Notes must be enabled in Settings → Features.
1

Tap "Add note" on the appointment

On My Appointments, "Add note" sits with the other actions on the appointment you just finished. The client, service and date are filled in for you. (The full SOAP form is still in the sidebar under SOAP Notes if you prefer it.)

2

Choose Treatment or Incident

Treatment is the record of the session itself. Incident is anything the studio should know about — someone was late, a safety concern, a complaint, a broken table.

3

Treatment: tap what fits

Pick the areas you worked, the pressure, and anything for the next therapist. Every section also has a text box if the buttons do not cover it. Nothing is required — a note made of three taps is a real note. "Start from last note" brings forward this client's usual areas and your handoff notes.

4

Incident: a category is enough

Choose what kind of incident it was and send. Details are optional, and there is a separate box for what you would like the studio to do about it — "please call me", "please don't book me with this client again".

5

Decide who else can read a treatment note

"Share with this client's practitioners" is on by default, so whoever sees them next knows what worked. Turn it off and only you and the studio can read it.

Limits
  • • The client never sees either kind of note.
  • • Incident reports are never shared with other practitioners, however you set the sharing switch. They go to the studio only.
Tips
  • • The studio can read the notes you write from now on. Notes written before this changed stay private to their author — nothing you wrote in the past was made visible.
  • • Safety concerns and boundary issues are marked in the studio's email so they get read the same day. Everything else waits for a normal working day.
  • • If you need help right now rather than to file a report, use the Emergency button instead.
