Message a client about their appointment

Tell a client you are running late, or ask about parking, from the appointment itself — and keep the conversation where the studio can see it.

ForInstructor
1

Open Message client

On My Appointments, tap "Message client" on the appointment. It appears on any appointment with a client attached.

2

Tap a quick reply, or write your own

Choose "Running late" (then pick 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes), "I've arrived", or "Confirm parking / entry". The message is written for you, in your name — edit it if you like, or ignore the buttons and type your own.

3

Send

The client gets an email and an app notification. Their reply comes back to the same conversation, so you do not need to give out your own phone number.

Limits
  • • A client can reply, but cannot start a new conversation with you directly — their messages come to the studio thread.
Tips
  • • Use this rather than your personal phone. Your studio's conduct agreement asks you to keep client contact on approved channels, and this is the approved one — it also means there is a record if a client later says they were never told.
  • • The studio can read these conversations. That is deliberate, and you are told so on the send screen every time.
  • • If you need help rather than to talk to the client, use the Emergency button instead.
