Rebook the next visit, appointment reminders, and caregiver contacts

After a home visit checks out, the practitioner can book the next visit in two taps. Clients who didn't decide on the spot get a one-button email offer. Every appointment now sends reminder emails the day before and that morning — and a caregiver contact can receive a copy of everything.

1

Book the next visit at the door

When a practitioner checks out of a home visit, a "Book next visit?" sheet appears: same service, same address, with big buttons for "Next week" and "In 2 weeks" at the same time (or pick another day). One more tap on "Book it" confirms immediately — no approval round trip. The same sheet is reachable later from the visit card's "Book next visit" button.

2

The one-button email offer

If no next visit is on the books a couple of hours after check-out, the client gets an email: "Would you like the same time next week?" with one large button. Tapping it opens a page with the same button — no login, no password, no card entry — and one tap books it. The link expires at the proposed time, and a link that's already been used simply shows the confirmed booking again. You can turn this off: Appointments → Appointment Types tab → "After-visit rebooking offer".

3

Reminders: the day before, and that morning

Every confirmed appointment emails the client a reminder the day before and again a few hours before the visit, in large, plain wording ("Your massage is tomorrow… Sonia comes to your home. Nothing to prepare — just be home."). Clients with the Klasly app installed also get a push notification about an hour before.

4

Add a caregiver contact

On the member's profile (Members → open the member → Edit member), fill in the "Caregiver contact" name and email. That person receives a copy of every appointment confirmation, reminder and pay link, and can press the rebooking button on the client's behalf. Leave it empty for clients who don't need one.

Tips
  • The email offer never races the practitioner: if the next visit was booked on the spot, no offer email is sent, and a client whose practitioner books later simply sees "You're already booked" if they tap the link afterwards.
  • A client with no email of their own still gets confirmations and reminders — they go to the caregiver contact instead.
  • Payment is untouched by rebooking: card-on-file visits are charged after completion exactly as before, and clients without a saved card can be sent a pay link.
  • If the proposed time stops working for the client, they can just ignore the email — nothing is booked until they tap the button.
