Set your emergency number and who gets alerted

Give your practitioners a number to call and choose who is notified when one of them presses Emergency — including people who do not have a Klasly account.

1

Open the settings card

Go to Settings → Messages and find "Therapist communication". Everything below is on that one card.

2

Set the emergency phone

Enter the number a practitioner should reach in an emergency — usually your mobile rather than the front desk. It appears as a one-tap call on every appointment they open. If you leave it empty, they reach your studio's main number instead, and the card tells you that is what is happening.

3

Choose who is alerted

Under "Alert recipients": you as owner are always on and cannot be removed. Each manager has a switch — turn off anyone who could not act on a safety call at night. Then add any extra email addresses: these do not need a Klasly account, so a personal inbox, a partner, or someone outside the studio all work.

4

Know what happens next

When a practitioner presses Emergency, everyone on that list is emailed and pushed immediately, and a red banner appears on your dashboard. The banner stays until someone marks it resolved — see "Respond to a home-visit safety alert" for what to do when one arrives.

Limits
  • • Emergency alerts ignore email notification preferences on purpose. Someone on this list cannot accidentally mute them.
  • • Only you can change this list. Managers cannot remove themselves — or anyone else — from the people a frightened practitioner is relying on.
Tips
  • • Practitioners are told before they send exactly who will be notified, so an empty or misconfigured list is visible to them at the worst possible moment. Set it up before your first home visit.
  • • Add at least one address you will see outside working hours. Alerts arrive by email and app notification, not text message.
