Send a contract for ordered multi-signature signing

Jotform-style: route a contract to multiple signers in a specific order, with a public signing link per signer.

1

Open Settings → Forms

Find the contract template and click Send for signing.

2

Configure the envelope

Set the title (defaults to the form name) and optionally tie the envelope to an instructor — when set, the signed contract automatically appears on that instructor's profile under "Signed contracts." Below the instructor selector, a "Contract details" section appears with one input per fillable form field, so you can pre-fill per-instructor details (Effective Date, Signee Name, Monthly Membership Fee, Term of Agreement, etc.) before sending. Signers see these values as read-only on the signing page. The dialog scrolls when there are many fields. To pre-fill specific fields, those fields need to exist on the contract form first — the form builder has a "+ Contract template" shortcut that adds all nine standard instructor-contract fields in one click.

3

Add signers in order

Enter Name + Email + optional Role label ("Studio owner", "Witness", etc.) for each. Use the up/down arrows to reorder.

4

Send

Click Send to first signer. Klasly emails them a unique signing link. After they sign, the next signer is emailed automatically. Once everyone signs, you get a "fully signed" email and the envelope is sealed.

Tips
  • External signers (lawyers, witnesses) don't need a Klasly login — the signing page is a public URL secured by a one-time token.
  • Signers can decline ("I can't sign this"); the studio gets notified and the envelope is voided.
  • Resend rotates the token, so the old link becomes invalid. Void cancels the envelope entirely.
  • All form field types (including rating scales and signature fields) are fully supported on the public signing page. Pre-filled (merge) fields appear read-only so the signer can see the terms without editing them.
  • Print signed copy on the envelope detail page opens a clean letter-style view — Cmd-P → Save as PDF gives you a real PDF.
