Let visitors buy passes as guests

Reduce friction at checkout by letting people buy without creating an account first — they finish payment, then claim an account from an emailed link.

Prerequisites

  • Feature: Embed Widget must be enabled in Settings → Features.
  • Stripe Connect onboarding must be complete so passes can be sold.

• Role: Owner

1

Open Settings → Widget

Scroll to the Guest Checkout card.

2

Turn the toggle on (default)

Guest checkout is on by default. Turn it off if you require everyone to create an account first.

3

How buyers use it

On the embedded pass widget, clicking Buy or Subscribe opens a checkout page with two options: Sign in or Continue as guest. Guests enter name + email + optional phone, then go straight to Stripe.

4

After payment

We email the guest a link to set a password and claim their account. The pass is already attached — the link just lets them sign in later. Their guest details are deduplicated by email, so the same person buying twice will end up with a single member record.

Tips
  • Class bookings still require sign-in — guest checkout only applies to pass and event purchases.
  • The claim link expires after 14 days. The guest member row stays in your member list either way; it just won't have a profile until they claim.
  • You can spot guest members in the Members list — they don't yet have an account linked.
