Sign in with a code instead of a password

Type your email, get a code of 8 digits by email, type it in. No password to remember, and nothing to set up first.

1

Enter your email

On the sign-in page (app.klasly.app/login), type the email your studio has for you and press "Send me a code".

2

Open the email

It arrives within a minute, with the subject "Your Klasly code" followed by the code. The code is 8 digits and works for 15 minutes.

3

Type or paste the code

Enter it on the page you left open. It checks itself on the last digit — there is no button to press — and you are signed in. On a phone the keyboard may offer the code for you.

4

Prefer your password?

Press "Use a password instead" under the button. Your password still works exactly as before, and the page remembers your choice on that device. "Continue with Google" is there too.

Limits
  • • A code works once, for 15 minutes.
  • • Five wrong tries in ten minutes locks code sign-in for that address for a few minutes. Your password and Google still work meanwhile.
  • • You can ask for five codes an hour per address.
  • • The sign-in page (app.klasly.app/login) does not create accounts. New to Klasly? Tap Book on your studio's page: the same email and code make your account there.
Tips
  • • Your studio added you and sent an invite? The "Open my account" button in that email is quicker still — see "Open the account your studio made for you".
  • • Want a password as well? Account → Password → "No password yet, or forgot it?" sets one with an emailed code.
  • • No email after a minute? Check spam, then check the address: the code only goes to an address that already has an account. If the address has none, you get an email saying so instead of a code.
  • • "Send again" becomes available after 30 seconds. Only the newest code works.
  • • Asking for a code cancels a password-reset link you were sent earlier, and the other way round. Use whichever you asked for last.
