The practitioner menu

If you take appointments and teach no classes, your portal shows a shorter menu — Today, Appointments, Availability, Earnings — with the class pages gone. It switches on by itself; anyone who also teaches keeps the full menu.

It decides itself

Nothing to switch on. Klasly looks at what a person actually does: linked to at least one service, and assigned to no class (and taught none in the last month) — that is a practitioner, and they get the short menu. Someone who also teaches keeps the full menu. Start teaching and the full menu comes back on the next page load; stop, and the short one returns.

What the short menu holds

Today, My Appointments, Availability, My Earnings first — on a phone those four are the tabs at the bottom, with everything else under "More". SOAP Notes, My Reviews, My Profile and Notifications stay. My Schedule and My Classes are gone, because they are class pages. Room Plan and Invoices stay only for someone who pays the studio for time (a rental, a room plan, or "room bookings only").

3

Today starts with a setup checklist

Until the first paid visit, Today opens with "Get set up to take clients": linked to a service (the studio does this), availability set, first client booked, first payment taken. Each open step is a link to where it happens — "Book your first client" opens the Book a client sheet directly. It reads from what has actually been done, so there is nothing to tick, and it goes away on its own after the first payment. The owner sees the same count as a "Setup 2/4" badge on the Instructors list, on any practitioner still short of it.

4

Earnings becomes a pay statement

My Earnings drops the class ledger (per-class revenue, studio fee, pass pools) and shows what the studio has paid you for your appointments, tips included, line by line — the same figures the owner sees on Payouts. A month with no payment recorded says so; it does not say "no earnings". Today also loses the weekly class snapshot and the class tips banner.

5

Today becomes the desk

Today lists the day's appointments — time, client, service, and whether one still needs an answer — each opening My Appointments. Anyone with appointments today sees this list even on the full menu; in practitioner mode it replaces "Today's Classes".

Limits
  • • In a studio with no classes at all (appointments or events only), everyone gets the short menu from their first sign-in, even before the owner links them to a service — the class pages would have nothing in them.
  • • The mode is per person, not per studio: the owner cannot force it on or off. To give a therapist the full menu, assign them a class; to give a teacher the short one, remove them from their classes and wait a month of not teaching.
  • • Nothing is hidden that they could act on: the class pages only vanish for people with no classes, and Room Plan / Invoices only for people who owe the studio nothing for time.
