Clients can leave a note when they book a home visit, such as a gate code, parking, which buzzer or the dog, and their practitioner sees it on the visit screen.
On a home-visit booking, under Address and "Phone for the day", there is an optional "Special instructions" box. Write anything your practitioner needs to reach you: parking, a gate code, which entrance, stairs, a dog.
Open the visit on your appointments list. The note appears as "Getting there", between the address and the phone number: address first, then how to get in, then the number to call if that fails.
Booking again prefills the box with what you wrote last time, so a regular does not retype their gate code every visit. Editing it changes only the new booking.
The note is not put in emails. Like the address, it stays on the screen that needs it.
