When an instructor asks to join

Instructors and staff can find your studio on the Klasly sign-up page and ask to join. You add them from the Dashboard in one tap.

1

They find you

On the Klasly sign-up page, an instructor picks "I teach or work at a studio", types part of your studio name, taps it, and leaves their name and email.

2

You see it

A card appears at the top of your Dashboard: "<name> wants to join as staff", with their email. You also get a short email saying a request is waiting.

3

Add as instructor

Press Add as instructor. It does exactly what Instructors → Invite does: they get an email with a link to set their password, and they are in. Ignore removes the card and sends nothing.

Limits
  • • A request gives them nothing until you press Add — no sign-in, no schedule, no member data.
  • • Add makes them an instructor. To make someone a manager, add them first, then change their role on their Access tab.
  • • One open request per email per studio; asking again does not send you a second email.
  • • Only studios that appear in Klasly search can be asked (Settings → Website & app → Show in Klasly search).
Tips
  • • Not expecting anyone? Press Ignore. The notification email never includes what the person typed — who they are is only shown on your Dashboard.
  • • Show in Klasly search is on by default. Turn it off and neither students nor instructors can find your studio by name on the sign-up page — your own links keep working.
