Why an email or a member add was refused

Klasly caps how much any one studio can send or add in an hour, and refuses names and subject lines that contain web addresses. Here is what each message means and what to do.

1

"That name contains a web address"

Member names appear in the emails Klasly sends on your behalf — welcome messages, waiver invitations — so a name containing a link would go out signed by our domain. Real names do not contain links, so we refuse them. Put the address in a note on the member instead.

2

"That is a lot of members in one hour"

Adding members one at a time is capped per hour. If you are moving a client list across, use Members → Import instead — it has a much higher ceiling and is built for exactly that.

3

Emails stop going out partway through a big send

There is an hourly ceiling on how much mail one studio can send. It sits far above normal use, and it is higher once your studio is past its first month. Wait an hour and the rest will send, or contact support if you have a genuine one-off that needs more.

4

A subject line was refused

Subject lines cannot contain a web address (http://, https:// or www.). Put the link in the body of the message instead, where it belongs anyway.

Limits
  • • A suspended studio cannot send mail, add members, take payments, or serve its public booking pages.
Tips
  • • These limits exist because Klasly sends mail from a shared domain. If one studio is used to send spam, deliverability drops for every studio — including yours.
  • • If you hit a limit doing something genuinely normal, tell us. The ceilings are meant to sit far above real use, and a legitimate studio hitting one means the ceiling is wrong.
  • • Suspension is a manual action by Klasly, and support will have contacted you.
