Connect your Meta Pixel to retreat and event pages

Send page views and purchases from your public retreat and event pages to your own Meta ad account, so Facebook and Instagram can measure and optimize your ads.

ForOwner
1

Find your Pixel ID

In Meta Events Manager, open your dataset (Pixel). The Pixel ID is the long number under its name.

2

Connect it in Klasly

Go to Settings → Website & app → Meta Pixel. Paste the Pixel ID, tick the box confirming you are responsible for your Meta account and your visitors' privacy, and click Connect.

3

Add a Conversions API token (recommended)

In Events Manager, open your Pixel → Settings → Conversions API → Generate access token. Paste it in the same Klasly page and save. Purchases are then also reported from our server, so they still count when a visitor's browser blocks the pixel.

4

Check that it works

In Events Manager, open Test events and copy the test code. Paste it into "Test event code", save, and click "Send a test event". It should appear in Test events within a minute. Then clear the test code and save again.

Tips
  • • What is sent: PageView and ViewContent when a retreat page opens, InitiateCheckout on the checkout page, AddPaymentInfo when "Continue to payment" is pressed, and Purchase with the amount when payment is confirmed.
  • • What is never sent: names, email addresses, phone numbers, or the names of your retreats and options. Meta sees an event id and the amount.
  • • Visitors can turn it off with "Privacy choices" at the bottom of the event page. Browsers with Global Privacy Control are skipped automatically, and visitors from the EU, UK and Switzerland are not sent.
  • • Purchase is sent once per booking, from the browser and from our server with the same event id, so Meta counts it once.
  • • While a test event code is saved, purchases sent from our server only show under Test events. Remember to clear it when you finish testing.
  • • You are the advertiser: Meta's Business Tools Terms and privacy notices to your own customers are your responsibility.
  • • Klasly also shows paid bookings per ad without any pixel: Analytics → Ads & sources.
